It is great to read your words and somehow even experience what they portray. There is a joyful anticipation opening the blog to see the latest postings. We are a part of your journey in a small way. There is a difference though... we have a warm dry bed. You have a river and the outdoors to bath your souls. Our thoughts are with you all.
ReplyDeleteWe are jealous for your experience, Maybe there's time for us yet.
ReplyDeleteJenny(linny), take tons of pictures and keep yer camera dry. Hope you packed your longhandles. It's blackberry winter here, and coming your way.
Love,
Mom and Dad
Hi, Charles. Stay warm! It is supposed to get cold. Write what you see so you can tell us when you get back. Mary M.
ReplyDeleteHi Jay,

Seems like you got a wet start - So chill. I'm still going to try to come see you guys/girls at Lake Norman.
ReplyDeleteKaren
ReplyDeleteI squinted real hard when I was flying over the NC lakes this morning, but didn't see you. I think I was looking at Lake Norman and you weren't there yet.... Just as well. I would have probably annoyed everyone on the plane banging on the window and waving.
Hope you are staying warm - in the LONG SLEEVED SHIRT! I love you! Mom
Patrick i think Pocahontas said it best
ReplyDelete"What I love most about rivers is:
You can't step in the same river twice
The water's always changing, always flowing
But people, I guess, can't live like that
We all must pay a price
To be safe, we lose our chance of ever knowing
What's around the riverbend
Waiting just around the riverbend!"
I hope you are having a sensational time just around the riverbend :)
haha miss youuuuu
~Chelsea

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear your voice again! Thinking of you and everyone on the river.
Halupehe Condigago eh? I have no idea what that means... It's kind of long for a nickname though... Patrick, I have to tell you that I talked to the rents and Smarge last night and I think they are losing it without you. They kept laughing manically... I could barely understand them. I am loving this blog. How cool that you can all record your thoughts from the river. Love you Chico!
